Community Affairs

The purpose of the Community Affairs Committee is to sponsor community service activities and to act as a liaison between the SBA and community service programs sponsored at the law school. Community Affairs is also the public relations arm of the SBA and often serves on behalf of the SBA in creating programs for career development, community service, and involvement with the legal community.

The Committee encourages and promotes the development of a variety of programs to foster student involvement in community service and in the legal community, as well as to improve communications with student bar associations and student body groups at other law schools. Additionally, representatives of the Committee participate on panels and speaker programs dealing with various issues relevant to the legal community.
